Catching good numbers of fish right now. Lots of smaller fish to sort
through, but if you have some patience you'll be rewarded with a teener.
Some days up to 15 fish landed making for a busy day. Numbers 233, 214,
228, and the 215 seem to be the most consistent flies working. I've also
been running lures down around 100 ft. for bull trout and the odd rainbow.
Been quite a bit of action down deep as well. Water temp is around 55.5 -
56 so we are getting in the zone. Once water stays at 55 or lower they will stop yo-
yoing and stay on the surface.
The Woodbury Resort rainbow derby is this weekend. Lots of prize money to be
had this year. I believe it is up to $4000 for first. Also Nov 8,9,10 is the
Kaslo Hotel and Barrens tackle derby in Kaslo. Big money for that derby as
well.
Been a beautiful fall and lots of great fishing to be done. Drop me a line
and we can start planning your trip for this falls prime time!!
