I met Don Ratliff many years ago while guiding on LBC for bull trout. Don was a Senior Fish Biologist for PGE and the Tribes on LBC for over 40 years before retiring earlier this year. Don was in our first DVD, Monster Bull Trout back in 2006. He and several of his affiliates have been working on the following article for a few years now. It was published in the North American Journal Of Fisheries Management Volume 35, Issue 6, 2015. It is a heavy read but very informative. Thanks for sending it over my Friend!
This is the "Gold Standard" bull trout. At 23 LB. 2 oz., Don Yow's "Monster Bull" is at the top of the heap, here in Oregon.
