I have been extremely blessed to have had a really exciting and fun second career in the fishing industry these past twelve years. I was able to work for the Paulina and East Lake resorts as a guide for brown trout and kokanee as well as guiding for bull trout at LBC. Besides producing a series of our own "Monster Trout" videos from around the United States and Canada, my then web partner, Mark K., and I were also involved in the filming of an episode of American Outdoorsman back in 2006.

We spent the first 3 days filming our own "Monster Bull Trout" DVD ( MT-1 can be purchased in the TTG store) as a tune-up for the TV program that would be filmed the rest of the week of our stay at Lake Billy Chinook. To top things off, we were staying in the 56 foot Hydro-Therapy houseboat provided by Cove Palisades Marina and anchored up at Chinook Island right in the heart of some of the best bull trout waters on LBC.

My good friend, Steve Kelly joined us and it was a week I will never forget. Mark Tobin was a gracious host with a great sense of humor that kept us all at ease. We got lucky and got into some great action on bulls to around 13 LB. that week. It was a dream come true to get the opportunity to do this TV program. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
