I meet Jeremy Evers when he entered our Mount Contest back in mid-Dec. He sent us a cool story and photos of his first nice brown trout caught from East Lake a couple of years ago. You can read his contest entry story here; http://www.trophytroutguide.com/news/12_11_12_Contest.html
He was up at Crescent Lake recently with one of his buddies and sent me some great photos of their day and a half on the water. He said they got out on Sat. afternoon and were able to fish all day Sun. before heading home Mon. morning. By any account, they had a great trip! Total take was (6) lakers and (3) browns and they were all quality trout. The biggest lakers weighed, 14, 16, and 23 LB. The browns went 5, 8, and 9 LB.....quite a trip in my book! Congrats guys!
The macks came off riggers at depths from 70-130 feet. He said they picked up the browns while flatlining. Looks like Crescent is starting to pop. I am planning to get up there myself this coming week if I can get out of Jury Duty at least one of the days of my final week of it.
You will also notice the photo of a nice 9.5 LB. bull trout he caught on another outing to LBC.....”when your hot your hot!”
Thanks for the report man! Keep up the good work!
